Kai Beerlink

Kai Beerlink started as Junior Research Fellow at BIGS in June 2024 and is currently primarily responsible for the Power2Rescue project.

He holds a Master’s degree in International Relations and Regional Studies from the University of Tartu in Estonia and a Bachelor’s degree in Politics and Philosophy from the University of Bonn. Before joining BIGS, he gained experience at the German Council on Foreign Relations, the German Institute for International and Security Affairs and the industry association Bitkom. His research interests focus on the impact of emerging technologies on security policy and the relationship between internal and external security.
